Ingredients:
400 g (0.9 lb) white navy beans
1/2 cup oil
1 onion, finely chopped

<p><strong>Ingredients:</strong><br />
400 g (0.9 lb) white navy beans<br />
1/2 cup oil<br />
1 onion, finely chopped<br />

<p><strong>Preparation: </strong></p>
<ol>
<li>Soak beans overnight in water. Drain and rinse beans, then cook beans until tender. Do not overcook. Drain beans, reserving some cooking liquid (about 1 cup).</li>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<li>In a large skillet, heat the oil, and saute onions and bacon until onions are translucent.</li>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<li>Add paprika, tomato paste, garlic and flour.</li>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<li>Add beans together with cooking liquid and peperoncini. Season with salt and pepper. Cook for a short time.</li>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<li>Put in a casserole, mix beans with sausage slices, sprinkle with mint leaves and bake at 220°C (425 F) for 20 to 25 minutes.</li>
