Ingredients:
500 g (1 lb) pasta
40 g (1.4 oz) pine nuts, lightly toasted
10 fresh basil leaves
2 garlic cloves
½ tsp salt
25 g (0.9 oz) grated parmesan cheese
2 Tbs grated pecorino cheese
120 ml (1/2 cup) olive oil
pepper
Preparation:
- Cook pasta in salted water.
- Put pine nuts, basil leaves, cloves, salt, pepper and oil in mortar and mash with a pestle (alternatively mix in blender). Add cheese. Toss over cooked pasta.
