Ingredients:2 egg yolks 1 1/3 cup milk 2 teaspoon sugar 1/2 ts vanilla extract
Preparation:
Whisk egg yolks with sugar in bowl.
Heat the milk in a double boiler.
When hot, stir a little of it into the beaten yolk and the sugar, and mix well; then pour the yolk mixture into the hot milk, and continue stirring over low heat until thickened.
Add vanilla extract.
Serve with bread pudding, christmas pudding or mince pies.
