Ingredients
1 pound (1/2 kg) wide egg noodles
3  cups diced ham (leftover baked ham is great)
24 ozs. (700 ml) sour cream
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
2 eggs well beaten
1 can small green peas
2 tbs butter
1/4 cup seasoned bread crumbs
a dash of paprika for color

Preparation

  1. Fully cook egg noodles drain well,  mix in sour cream (mix well), add salt and pepper and diced ham,  mix well, stir in beaten eggs([its all right if eggs start to cook), mix well, add can of peas, stir well.
  2. Pour into  a baking pan so that mixture is approx. 2 inches thick.  Top with 4  1/4 inch thick pats of butter, top with thin layer of bread crumbs and sprinkle with paprika.
  3. Bake 30 to 40 minutes at 350 degrees or until top gets slightly crunchy.
    Great for use of leftover baked ham, very good reheated
