Ingredients:
3/4 cup raw rice
7 1/2 cups milk
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg or cinnamon (optional)
Preparation:
- Wash the rice and drain.
- Scald milk with raw rice. Add sugar, salt and spices.
- Pour into a greased baking dish and bake at 165 C (330 F) for 90 minutes or until the rice is thoroughly done. Stir every 20 minutes.
