Since lot of you didn’t like my old recipe for pancakes without eggs, I have found another one which I hope you will like.
NEW RECIPE
Makes 8 pancakes
Ingredients:
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
2 teaspoon baking powder
1 cup whole milk
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 tablespoon water
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 tablespoon butter
Preparation:
- Combine dry ingredients and mix slightly. Add milk, oil, water, and vanilla. Whisk together until just combined. Be careful not to over mix – it should still be slightly lumpy. Set aside to rest for a few minutes.
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat until hot. While pan is heating, add butter. As soon as the butter is melted, add melted butter to pancake batter.
- Return pan to stove and stir butter into batter.
- When pan is hot, with a measuring cup or ladle, pour 1/4 cup of batter into the skillet for each pancake.
- Cook until bubbles form on the surface. Carefully flip pancakes with turner/spatula and cook until golden brown.
Note: This recipe also works well with whole wheat flour. Chopped fruit, nuts or chocolate chips can be added to batter before cooking for a unique treat.

So i tried these and the where amazing they tasted so good. mind you i used them for waffles but they tasted amazing
Try again. Did not like this recipe. Very doughy, and sticky texture.
I’d prefer an instant mix over this.
AWESOMEE!! love it
I just tried, I am actually eating my pancakes and I love them.
I am afraid I am going to cook another batch.
Do u have the nutrtional information for this without the butter though?
i tried the new recipe and it is great and i loved it
Just got done making an eating them. They were good just a bit on the doughy side but other than that not bad at all:) ***Recommend this recipe with no eggs***
Horrible! Doughy is the best description.
I just tried this new recipe, and the pancakes really tasted delcious… for those of you that don’t think so, must not know how to cook…
I just made your recipe. Actually it wasn’t bad at all. The first batch turned out well; I made the second one and it was quite thicker (probably due to using the same bowl and just throwing in the ingredients all together at once). The recipe as it stands is sufficient for two adults; however, I recommend doubling it for a family of 4. My wife seemed to think these tasted better with a topping of raspberry jam as opposed to syrup. In any event, thanks for putting the recipe up for us.
They were so gd that i decided to leave a comment!Yummmmmy
Hi, Just wanted to thank you for the fabulous recipe. My husband doesn’t usually like pancakes but I added bananas to this recipe and they were a hit. Great suggestion and thanks for saving breakfast! We had no eggs…
My 11 yr old son and I made these because we had no eggs and we wanted pancakes. We substituted Splenda for sugar and skim milk for whole milk and added mini chocolate chips and they were yummy! If you are not a cinnamon lover as my son is not we recommend 1/2 cinnamon or none at all — but he liked them even with cinnamon and I loved them! Great recipe!
these were great, as pancakes go in a house with no eggs. i substituted half of the baking soda with baking powder — and i still think i could’ve used less soda to avoid that hint of bitterness. thanks for saving breakfast this morning!
oh — i also added more milk to make the batter thinner. anyway, every recipe gets modified in the kitchen, but this one is a terrific starting point, and any problems are easy to spot and fix.
Doughy Doughy Doughy… I was really dissapointed, Id gotten all excited about making my baby egg free pancakes… No good!
I tried these this morning. Mine were very fluffy so I do not know what the other users’ problem was (maybe old inactive baking powder?) Used whole grain baking mix in stead of flour (like the oats and grains) Added about 2 tbsps extra baking mix and used fresh blueberries on top (added them just when the pancakes were ready to flip for the first time. Yum.
