Ingredients:
2 cup of milk
4 tbsp of butter
4 cups of white sugar
1 cup of peanut butter
Preparation:
- Mix milk, sugar, and butter in a large saucepan. Cook to a soft ball stage.
- Remove from heat, and add peanut butter. Beat well until smooth.
- Pour into a greased pan and chill. Cut into squares when cool and firm.

how many carbs are in these? They are really good and i want to surprise my mom but she is on a low carb diet.

“Cook to a soft ball stage” means that you should cook the mixture over medium heat until the temperature reaches 240F degrees on a candy thermometer. A small amount of syrup dropped into cold water forms a ball, but is soft enough to flatten slightly when picked up with fingers. See here.
