Ingredients:
6 cups flour
3 tbsp. cornstarch
1 3/4 cups powdered sugar
3 cups (6 cubes; 700 g) butter
Preparation:
- Combine flour, cornstarch and salt in a bowl and set aside.
- Cream butter and sugar until it is pale and creamy.
- Gradually blend flour mixture into butter mixture.
- Turn dough onto floured surface and pat or roll out to 1/4″ thickness. Cut into rounds with a cutter. Prick with fork. Bake at 165 C (330 F) until pale brown and crisp.
