Ingredients:
6 large sweet potatoes (yams), peeled
1.5 cup dark brown sugar
2 teaspoons of salt
1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation:
- Put potatoes in a pan and cover with water. Add salt. Boil for 30 minutes or until potatoes are tender. Drain.
- Mix brown sugar, cinnamon and vanilla. Put potatoes in a baking dish and sprinkle with sugar mixture. Dot potatoes with butter.
- Bake for 20 minutes or until browned in 350 F (175 C) oven.
