Ingredients:
2 cups buttermilk
1 cup butter
2 cups sugar
4 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
3 cups flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation:
- Preheat oven to 325 F (165 C).
- Cream butter, add sugar, vanilla and eggs, one at a time. Add flour, baking soda, salt and buttermilk. Mix well, but do not overmix.
- Pour batter into a greased and flour-dusted pan. Bake until cake tester comes out clean.
