Ingredients:
2 kg 4 lb) thin-skinned mandarins (tangerines), peeled and sliced
1 kg (2 lb) sugar
3 cups water
2 tbs whiskey
Preparation:
- Put all ingredients, except whiskey, into a heavy pot; bring to a boil. Cook for about 1 hour or until the mixture sets when tested.
- Stir in whiskey, stand 10 minutes. Pour into warm, dry jars. Seal with lids.
