Ingredients:
10 apples, peeled, cored and cut into quarters
5 cups sugar
4 cups water
1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation:
- Cook sugar, water and vanilla until thick. Add apples and boil for 5 minutes
- Pack apples into jars, leaving 1″ at the top. Fill jars with hot syrup.
- Put lids on and process in a boiling water bath for 30 minutes.
