Ingredients:
150 g (5 oz) margarine
160 g (5.5 oz) brown sugar
3 eggs
3-4 bananas, mashed
1 tsp. vanilla
350 g (10.5 oz) whole wheat flour
3 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
100 g (3.5 oz) walnuts, chopped
1/8 l (1/2 cup) milk
Preparation:
- Sift together flour and baking powder.
- In a bowl beat together butter and sugar on until light and fluffy; beat in eggs. Add mashed bananas.
- Add flour mixture alternately with milk to butter mixture. Add nuts, salt and vanilla.
- Pour into greased loaf pan. Bake at 350 F (175 C) for 50 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
